Peer Review Process

Medivara Jurnal Inovasi dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (MJIPM) implements a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, relevance, and scholarly contribution of all published articles. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review procedure.

All manuscripts submitted to MJIPM are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area of the manuscript.

Review Process

  1. Submission 
    • Authors submit manuscripts through the journal's online submission system. 
  2. Initial Editorial Screening 
    • The Editorial Team evaluates the manuscript's suitability with the journal's aims, scope, template, and author guidelines. 
  3. Plagiarism Screening 
    • Manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software to ensure originality and academic integrity. 
  4. Peer Review 
    • Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two reviewers under a double-blind peer-review system. 
  5. Review Recommendations 
    • Reviewers provide comments and recommendations to improve the manuscript and assist editors in making publication decisions. 
  6. Editorial Decision 
    • Based on reviewer evaluations, the Editor will make one of the following decisions: 
      • Accept 
      • Minor Revision 
      • Major Revision 
      • Reject 
  7. Revision Process 
    • Authors revise the manuscript according to reviewer comments and resubmit the revised version within the specified timeframe. 
  8. Final Decision 
    • The Editor evaluates the revised manuscript and determines its final acceptance for publication. 
  9. Publication 
    • Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout editing, proofreading, and publication.

The average review process is completed within 2–4 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the quality of the submitted manuscript. MJIPM is committed to providing a fair, transparent, and timely review process while maintaining high publication standards.
